As one of the few directories that offers their content free of charge to search engines and does not charge for entry into their database, DMOZ is arguably the best possible bang for your buck. Be warned though, simply submitting your site to the list brings no guarantee of in inclusion. All entries are subject to editor approval and they have little tolerance for mindless commercialism or repetative content. It should also be noted that while DMOZ makes no secret about which search engines are using their feed, a great many of those sites are not currently listed here and as a result our DMOZ ranking does not reflect their actual reach.
